The National Trade Registry Center, abbreviated as CNRC, is a public institution created by decree 63-249 of July 10, 1963, under the initial name of National Office of Industrial Property (ONPI), and which took the name CNRC by decree 73-188 of November 21, 1973, with the scope of centralising the Trade Registry issued by the court clerks. The National Trade Registry Center is an autonomous administrative institution placed under the authority of the Minister of Commerce since March 1997.

The CNRC offers a range of services to obtain up-to-date and legally valid information on merchants and companies.

Access to these services is free, without any commitment, and allows you to:

Locate a merchant or a company;
Choose an activity from the NAE;
Choose the name or trade name of the company that is in the planning stage;
Check the solvency of partners;
Obtain statistics.

This first level is offered free of charge to users and allows them to obtain synthetic information to start an investigation on a company or a merchant. Access to detailed information requires a subscription.

The CNRC has designed quick and simplified searches in the directory of merchants, the nomenclature of economic activities, the file of corporate names and trade names (denominations), and the verification of the filing of social accounts regarding a company.

Four categories of services are available:
